One more question now that I have hooked up my laptop and I am in map 2 can I change back to map 1 from the steering wheel or do I have to hook it back up to the laptop?

The volume keys are for map 0 and 1 only, yes you can change it back to map 1 from steering.. but If you want map 2 again you will have to hook up the laptop again

The steering wheel controls take you to map 1 or 0 no matter if you're in map 0 or 1 or 2 or 7.

Yep, sure is. I'll be (pleasantly) surprised If the beta tag is removed before the new year. There's still a bit of work to be done on refining the tune IMO, especially for the majority of us who have the electronic solenoid control.

hello guys let me remind you, i got 320i which reflashed in 328i
two days ago I connected my bms stage 2, we made a couple of races vs 328 stock (map 1), if previously we dispersed equally, but now I am going away from him, but not much

yesterday installed the downpipe, map 2, and result of the race with the 328i exactly the same as without downpipe and map1

why is this happening, whether it is necessary to ride for a couple hundred miles or not

I am going to have to question how a 320 is going to keep up with a 328 with both having tunes? I have a 328 with stage 2 and cannot see this happening. I sell BMWs and there is a huge difference in power stock for stock.

we did some races with 328i again, and once again we got small difference

but on 6 gear from 80km/h-160kmh on 0 map - the same performance me and 328stock, and on 2nd map - i was much faster !

it means a big difference in 2000-4000 rpm, and small at 4-7rpm ( why?

you can't open map 2 unless you have 98 Octane, If you have less than 98 your performance will be demilished.. I would recommend 93 with E40 40% ethanol then you can open map 2 or even 7 if you want

i always use 98 octane, and we don't have any type of ethanol here

yes you can open map 7.. but only with 102 Octane tell me if you feel the difference

Have you tried map 5 which is specifically for 320i, 520i ect. it will give the same boost as a stock 328i.. put in mind you have a different compression ratio so I don't know about using other maps you should ask John@bms.
