BMW F30 Main Window Does not work with Connecting new PDC Sensor
Hello All
I have repaired my BMW 330i which was hit in the back and now for some reason after replacing a faulty PDC Sensor the window switch, lane assist or side mirrors do not work. When I disconnect the PDC sensor the switch works fine, can someone please provide some insight on what the issue may be? I am also getting that the SOS Call System Failure, we reset it with Diagnostics machine but it comes back on after driving the vehicle for a while. Thanks |

That's really weird. Are you sure it's the same part, the new sensor. Is it a genuine part or some aftermarket junk (not sure if there are pdc sensors). Did they revise the part number at all, and you got the wrong one maybe for a newer version of the same car. Perhaps it is a defective sensor. Other than that check your fuses and check some of the wiring. The SOS is the shark fin antenna and there's a computer module for it. You might have to reprogram that but I don't know why. Are you using ISTA for diag or something else?
