What brands did you go with? And from where was it not fitting properly?

How did you get the airbag decal delete? Did you just replace the part?

Not sure of the brand. Both were bowed to the point it would take trying to force it into place which would of caused it to most likely snap and break. One was off eBay and the other was from an actual website. eBay one wasn't even close and the second one I just tried was really close, but didn't quite make it. Still bowed and the ends we're short.

Rubbing alcohol, microfiber, and some very sore thumbs.

Awesome. How do u like the quality of the 2nd option I saw on amazon? I’m thinking of getting that one. Does it look and feel cheap? Cus I looked at your and it looks nice in the pictures, but how does it really look in person?

VRSF Charge Pipe and MHD stage 1 tune.

Had the pipe installed at a local indy:

Nice place and nice people. Car goes out of original warranty next month, so also got a thorough inspection. They gave me a loaner: 2006 330i w/ 160k miles on it. It was solid!

I only got the first one. Just have been thinking about ordering and trying the second one. The first one's not terrible, but not really "high quality". But for now, it's holding up ok; if it starts to look bad and worn down, I might eventually try the Vvivid stuff.

I'm SO tempted to do this to both my car and wheels since I live on a dirt road and just got my new wheels that seem to already be dirt/dust magnets after one full day, and I crawl down my road. But I heard that although the ceramic coating advantages don't last forever the actual coating does and has to be sanded off to be removed. Any insight on this!?...

The advantages of a ceramic coating can be greatly extended through the use of a rejuvenating product which is available for nearly every ceramic coating on the market. The tech who applied CQuartz to my car explained how CQuartz Reload works to maintain and restore the hydrophobic properties of the ceramic coating. It’s basically a spray-on, wipe-off sealant that you use every few months. I’ve already got a 500mL bottle on order from Amazon.

As far as removing a ceramic coating, I’m not really certain that sanding is required. I believe the same process of compounding and polishing that goes into paint correction would likely do the job.

Oh, ok. That sounds better than just getting a year out of it and having to have it done again. I'm going to inquire about it in more depth at the detail shop Monday. The info I got about having to have it sanded off was from a YouTube video a German engineer put out about the pros and cons of ceramic coating.

Thank You! I'll hopefully get some better pics in the next few days. I believe it's listed as a V Style. Got it off eBay, fitment was pretty spot on and my mechanic did an awesome job installing it with body clips so it can easily be removed and put back on. Now if I could just get a CF diffuser that would fit properly withoit costing $1200 I'd be all set. Been through two so far and neither one would fit properly.
