I know its a money making gimmic, but really its tiring. Why have the E90 LCI with LED turn signals in the front, but the new F30 is back to incandescent bulb. Why not carry over improvements from the last model and come up with new ways to make a LCI model?

Couldnt they have incorporated it to lift up above the headlights, as it does on the e92..... Dont know if I will upgrade to this model.. its really going to have to impress in person.

Higher hood line equals less metal equals more plastic equals less $$$ to manufacture.

Per our F30 FAQ, xDrive will begin production approximately July, with the 2013 model year switchover.

The most beautiful 3-Series sedan ever built so far. It keeps to see if the coupe/cabrio version will look better than the E92/E92.

Isn't the M Sport 2013 year model as well?

The obvious question is why BMW included M Sport but not XDrive, since they are both coming out at the same time. You would normally expect a listing including xDrive in the back of a big brochure like this.

I believe the answer is obvious. BMW does not yet want to commit which engines will be available combining xDrive with manual transmission. Very disappointing.

PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS BMW! Give your North American customers both the 328i AND the 335i with xDrive and manual transmission!

The pages that are labelled 38/39 in the 54 page brochure actually mention xDrive and a little sub note says which engines they will be available in (320i, 328i, 335i and 320d). Which is good news as I previously thought the 328i was excluded.

The availability of xDrive with four different engines is certainly good news, and a step in the right direction, but it's a bad sign that BMW stopped short of including columns for these in the option tables (320i xDrive, 328i xDrive, 335i xDrive, and 320d xDrive).

Similar brochures for the F10 5 series and others INCLUDE columns for the xDrives. My point is that if these four F30 xDrives had their own columns, BMW would have to commit to which ones were available with manual transmission.

Come on BMW, don't let your loyal manual-transmission customers down!

Note that this is a worldwide brochure. Even if the information was included, there would be no guarantees of availability in the US.

BTW, I know it's frustrating. I am waiting for M-Sport pricing and US configurations to be released.

I love it, but I will wait for the LCI model and then get the 335i 6MT with M-Sport Package. I hope LCI will get rid of this hood line above the front grill. That line (where the hood ends) really irritates my eyes
