Sure! Just let me know what you use and how you plan to measure and I'll follow that

I'm in Might be good to start a new thread. I totally agree- set up a standard.
Distance from rear center. (take care of dual/quad)
Height from ground.
Exhaust setup, with or without tune.
Phone type (app probably doesn't make difference because they use the phones hardware readings, but I'm sure mic can make a difference)
Location - probably should be outside to get the closest control.
Rev xxxx RPM reading.
Idle reading.
Cold start reading.
Anything else you can think of too.

Perfect and agreed! I didn't get a chance today (spent 3 hours and am 1/4 of the way through sewing on a new steering wheel wrap) but when I do, I'll go and get some readings. I'll report back what I get and how I got it and we can go from there.

BunkerJ Noelified just letting you guys know I didn't forget about the decibel test. I'm actually looking forward to it, but the weather has been so laughably miserable in central PA that there literally hasn't been a day without rain where I'd be comfortable leaving my phone on the ground outside my car! The weather is shaping up though, so I'll try to get it done in the next few days. Look out for either a new thread or an update on this thread

No worries bro I'm in same boat as you. I got 7" of rain last night alone. Schools were cancelled due to washed out or flooded roads.

BTW I got a drivetrain malfunction this morning. When I got to work I ran OBD diags and it was cylinder 3. They just replaced the plugs two weeks ago so maybe a bad out of box plug or a coil. An ignition reset fixed it, no problems to lunch and back or driving home - about 50 miles total. I'm still running stock tune, haven't flashed BM3 yet. Kinda glad I didn't or it would have looked like BM3. If it crops up again SA said they would start replacing plugs and coils for me under warranty.

Wow, sounds like you got it worse than me weather wise! The foreseeable forecast looks great though .

And yah, probably a bad plug like you said, or maybe even a little kink the ignition reset fixed. Surely nothing too bad . Have you figured out what you'll be doing with your exhaust setup yet, with regards to keeping the AWE, going catless w/ AWE or stock cat w/ AWE. Interested to see what you decide on.

Haven't decided yet, been waiting for this setup to settle in and then flash BM3 and drive like that for a bit. I'm also out of commission for three weeks. Without going into detail, I cut a dime size medallion off my thumb knuckle down to the bone. Need to wait for the graft to fully take and heal before I get back under there.

Oh damn sorry to hear that, heres to a quick recovery

At least now you'll get plenty of time to really soak up how it sounds now, so you can really decide how you want it to sound

I haven't washed my car in a month either Kinda hard at school where I don't really have a driveway, or a hose.

QFTMFT!!! I moved to the southwest to leave the dreary and suicide riddled PNW behind. People here applaud the rain and clouds and I give them my decades of fury looks

Do we have a sense of how much actually changes between stages 1 and 2? Does the boost just turn up and the cat delete coded out, or is there more going on?

I'd like to hear it from PTF, but what I have gleaned from logs is: more timing, more boost, more WGDC, a little bit more fuel and I think stage 2 might target a richer AFR. I'm sure there's other tweaks we can't see in datalogs but that probably includes most if not all of the major changes.

Thanks. Asking because I'm going fbo this weekend, and was thinking about going ahead and flashing stage 2 a few days before.

So long as you have the right hardware, go for it. Otherwise, you won't get the power it's driving for.

Still worth it for sure. Depending on who you use for your tune, you can configure the tune to have no pops and bangs at all, or as minimal as you want them to be.

Mostly just wondering if I'm risking anything significant by running it for a few days before I actually get the parts on. Day 2 and no issues so far, haven't really pushed it though.

Yah you'll be okay so long as you don't run it for long w/o the hardware. You're asking a lot of the turbo on stage 2 with the stock DP.

Did you get some 0-60 times with the M laptimer? I'm curious what you can get with stage 2.
