Many Asia countries have high Import duties. I took a quick look at Bmw Taiwan website, the base model 320i touring starts at over US$ 60k while the 340i Msports touring starts at US$100k...it's just crazy...

I've never seen so may roof carriers in one spot- clearly they are seen a a stylish accessory by some.

Only trucks for the US. We did it to ourselves. The US manufacturers sold SUVs once upon a time as an economic and regulatory expedient, and they did such a good job marketing them (plus they were cheap) that the US drivers have adopted them. Yup... crazy price. Same here in Malaysia. Too bad BMW doesnt offer wagon here. Oni GT. our price not too far off Taiwanese level.

Super cool!

I grew up with an old-school VW Wagon and also an 1985 Volvo DL Wagon both stick shifts what awesome cars they we're, too bad they were in hideous colors.

BMW it is finally time to make a kick ass M3/M4 wagon! And bring it to the States.

Oh and BMW I want to Carbon Fiber Roof that actually has bolts for a Thule rack. Because I can't stand any stock luggage racks and that's including BMW's as well.

I am the founder and the president of F31 Taiwan Facebook club.
Actually we held this annual meeting every year. People come over all Taiwan to participant the F31MEET so called gathering in Taiwan.

This year we went to Sun Moon Lake and spent one night near the lake. It's quite a famous place you would like to visit when you came to Taiwan. There are total 120 Cars participate this event. More than 200 people show up that day. We also creat the club logo , club Shirts, staff shirts, staff caps within the event.

This club is only for the owner to join so we are pretty strictly filtering everyone applicant.

Glad you report this event for us!
We are from Taiwan! We love BMW 3 Series Touring. We are fascinated by the wagon.
We enjoy the gathering. We had lots of fun in F31MEET2017!

I actually saw a cpo demo 328 f31 on sale for 2,700,000 ntd, that's almost 100k usd !!!
