Hoping nobody else proves me wrong as didn’t want to change just yet
Phew.

As you were everyone

Trouble is I've fallen in love the LCI 7...I must be mad, I'll just have to wait a while.
I can certainly see the appeal of the 7. I love the Comfort Seats and Nappa Leather, both of which I had on my car before last, an X5. If I spent more time on the motorway, rather than country lanes, the 7 would be the perfect choice. The gap in build quality and refinement between the F30 and the G11 is huge.

As well as the narrow lanes, I quite often park in town centre car parks, which really aren't made for cars that size - perhaps I should get one with a sunroof so I can climb out!

I think with the size do the 7 they should just do what they do with the 8 and make Integral Active steering standard.

When not on the A1 I spend most of my time on moorland b roads and at first I was oh shit this isn't any good, the car felt enormous, parking was a nightmare it doesn't fit in a standard space at 5.1 metres long.

But you do get used to it, although you don't have the advantage that the seating position of an X5 gives you, I now find I can thread it along those moorland roads and place the car quite well, but I still have to choose my parking spot wisely.

The major down side is washing the thing, which I'm about to do having worked out I can't afford a new one...

Yeah it's a £1195 option which seems a bit mean.

I'm meeting a sales rep on Wednesday to talk about numbers for part exing my 5 year old 330d for something new.
He mentioned a newer version of mine but I told him I quite like the M4, and I'm told they've incredible deals just now via pcp.

No way can I afford an M4 but who knows...
I might get a sit in one.

I very nearly got an M4 CP on 0% towards the end of last year. Would probably have been a money pit seeing as it wouldn't have been a keeper, but I could afford it and itches needed to be scratched and all that. Thankfully the salesman at my local dealer was so inept he couldn't find his arse with both hands and gave me an opportunity to mull it over. Probably saved me a shed load of money

I'd find it hard to justify spending a huge amount to replace a car that up to now has been brilliant for me, and up to now 100% reliable.

Yeah they'll be using their available discounts across the range to cover the subsidy incurred with BMWFS for doing off-grid 0% deals.

So you'll pay no interest, but will get less discount in the first place.
