The B3 will be epic especially with the S58 I guess they will also release a 500hp+ B3S at some point.

I really like this car even the wheels... but that hideous stripe they do down the side... I know it's just 'an alpina' thing :

Wonder if it is a M3 engine, or that's just motor journalism.. I thought it would be an alpina fettled b58 as opposed to a M fettled b58.. around 460hp and 4wd it will be immense

Yeah I just watched the Carfection 'Frankfurt Top Picks' video and while Mat mentioned M3 engine (but didn't come out and say S58) Henry didn't mention anything other than 456hp and XDrive.

I could live with the silver coachlines, perhaps even those hard-to-clean Alpina wheels, still not sure about the chrome grille though.

Hell of a machine no doubt..
hardly see any in this country of the old current one..

Thing is...wheels grille and stripes could all be sorted and put back without detriment if you came to sell... that is, if they really bothered me in this hypothetical world where I could actually afford one haha

Seen a few articles now stating it uses the new m3 s58 engine.
Does look nice and looks they based it on an msport as opposed to a luxury spec.

Nice but it's looking like even the m340i touring will be silly money so even that might be a stretch, let alone one of these!

I did a quick comparison on coast2coast of c43, s4 and m340i (non touring) and seems big discounts on the s4s already. Maybe derv isn't so popular in an s as audi thought...

You just have to look at the torque graph to see it's the S58 not the B.
