I have a long list of sat-nav destinations which show as postcode and street name. After a while I think... is that one "Dave's house" or "Client aaa" or "The chip shop". I cannot see any way of changing them to a meaningful name.
Am I missing something? Is it just not possible?

Rather than maintaining sat-nav destinations as contacts on the car I decided to put them into the contacts on my Android phone. So I sync my phone with the car then when I want guidance to an address I select that contact on the iDrive. If I change cars I carry the destinations with me.
Problem... the car only displays those contacts that have phone numbers, despite me selecting "Show ALL contacts" on my phone. I cannot find any setting on iDrive that will show all contacts, it shows only those that have phone numbers. Am I missing something.

I don't know if you are missing a feature but, if you're right about it needing a telephone number to show up in the list, why don't you add a fake number "000000" to each phone entry that doesn't have one at the moment?

Thanks, yes I had arrived at that as plan b, just wanted to make certain there was not an obvious solution on iDrive.
