Sorry if this has been discussed and if this is a dumb idea. I'd like to add additional proximity sensors to the sport bumper on my 340i. Seems the bumper sensors are not low enough to tell me if I'm close to parking lot cement blocks. Is it possible to splice in two more sensors to the closest sensors on the bumper cover? Otherwise I may need to add a front mount camera and MMI.

You should get a firmware update from your dealer... PDC sensitivity has vastly improved every model year.

Firmware update, is it an idrive update? Or ecu update? How do i know my firmware version? Thanks.
