Hi, great job David!

I have purchased a set of used LCI rear taillights. Would this method work for UK? I have RHD and need to know if the coding and wiring will work in the UK. I need to ensure the fog light is also enabled. Help please!

Ah I see thanks David. I have purchased the connectors and plugs and have lights installed in the car.

Next week I shall try your method and report back to you.

The two wires which go into the new connectors, where do I source them two wires from? Existing black inner plugs?

Can I also check the purple/grey and the blue/red wire were provided by yourself and ran into the REM module next to the battery?

I assume that these part numbers for the LCI outer taillights are for the US/Canadian versions with red turn signals. Does anybody have the part numbers for the RoW versions with orange turn signals, especially for the F31?

The Part Numbers you are looking for are 7372209 7372210 7369119 7369120. These are euro amber LCI and fit the F31.

Hi David, I hope you can help me?

I stupidly decided to be over curious today and starting looking at how the rear lights could be changed and a stupidly started to remove one of the rear tailgate lights, it lifted slightly and as it wasn't moving tried to put it back.... I got the part nearest the centre of the tailgate to sit flush but the edge nearest the side of the boot lid is slightly proudness as if it's not sitting flush, it is only slight but I know it's there.

How easy is it to remove and refit the lights? Is anything likely to snap etc...

David sorry for the delay with the picture...the top pic shows the light slightly protruding and the bottom pic is the other side which is more flush.

As I mentioned before it's not massively out but it is out of alignment

Hello

the small plate that allows to engage the rear lights on the part of the trunk must be bend which prevents you to secure the rear lights.

Great thanks, I might leave it as it is as it's not leaking and is only a fraction out. Thanks again
