Help, I think I added too much e85

I have a jb4 running map 5 and I accidentally added 6 gallons of e85 on a full tank, I'm full bolt on with stock spark plugs and have 32k miles on the car, is there anything I need to be worried about with adding a bit too much e85? I'm lowkey freaking out

yes that is too much. it's not ideal but you'll be fine. do you know the actual ethanol content of the fuel you added?

drive in eco mode till you can add more 91-93 to compensate.

What car do you drive? This is the N55 section but your profile says 430?

Just stay out of boost and you'll be ok. Once you lower the level enough, add whichever premium gasoline is available to you (91 or 93).

I think you will be fine--when I was using my JB4 I would put in 6gal and the rest 91 when the tank was under 1/4 full. That was my mix. If your car is running well and things look good that might be your go to mix.

Yeah like wtf lol...

Anyways the key thing is just checking for HPFP crash. Pull a log and see... Map 5 may not be too much boost, especially if PWG

I add about 6.75 gallons of e85 with my 6.75 gallons of 93oct every fill up for the past couple of years and run in map 7. Is yours a PWG?

*Actually I see the mileage on your car so unlikely it's PWG lol, sorry

Drive conservatively until the gas tank is on empty , there is nothing to worry about as long as you are not pushing the car on high RPM

Asked the same thing above, but he didnt answer. PWG can handle more E85 because boost falls off before HPFP crashes typically.

Yup. Slightly larger outlet on the ewg makes up for the smaller amount of e85.
