Hey guys I am shopping around for exhaust tips. I was going to do M Performance carbon fibre tips but may be considering other options.

What's out there? Anyone have anything to show and tell?

Burger tips are 88mm, I believe 335i MPE tips are 80mm. +8mm difference going to burger. Design wise though, I think the OE carbon fiber MPE tips are the best you can get.

If you really want those tips to stand out and make it plain that you're not driving a 328i it's hard to beat the Burger chromes.

Thanks although I don't believe these are made to fit over the mpe exhaust?

I'm also not sure what the 328i reference refers to, I've gone dual mpe exhaust so the 328i perceptions already gone

If you have the MPE, there doesn't seem to be any aftermarket tips that fit. All aftermarket tips I've found are too small for the MPE/MPPSK.

Yeah if not the OEM carbon fiber ones the next bet is replica Akrapovic ones.

I don't think any of those would fit either.

KC328_F30 brings up a good point. BMS's website says they won't work on the MPE. that kind of surprises me because I always thought the outlet piping was the same as stock, but I guess not according to them. In that case, it look's like your only options are MPE default tips, or OE Carbon Fiber tips, or Akrapovic Carbon Fiber tips. I would go OE carbon fiber, but they cost quite a pretty penny.

I believe the MPE piping is 80mm whereas stock piping is 67mm

I KNEW IT! lol. So does that mean MPE outlet piping and stock outlet piping are the same? It seems like a stupid question I know, but I just want to make sure I have this straight.

There is an alternative solution called powder coating Had mine done in flat black. $40 CAD well spent
I was surprised that the engraved ///M logos were ''somehow'' still visible. Barely but i wasn't expecting anything at this point.
