Adaptive Headlight Failure
Hi all, looking for some help if possible. I currently have an adaptive headlight failure warning. Scanned with BimmerLink and get the below code (photo attached). Only thing I have noticed on the car is the driver side headlight stays on for a few mins once the car is locked and the driver side DRL does not appear very bright compared to passenger side. I have switched the headlights control modules and issue stays with driver side. All wiring under the wheel arch appears to be ok. Any advice on what to check next would be appreciated. Thank you.

In addition to the above faults and searching the forum for possible clues I have noticed the headlight level sensor wiring in the front passenger wheel arch appears to be damaged. Could this affect one headlight? Apologies if sounds like a daft question.

Start by fixing the wiring to the level sensor - it looks on the picture that the insulation sleeve was breached at some point and the core of one of the wires in the pair was exposed. It could have been corroding since then. See if the 804365 error (and may be 8041BA) go away after you fix the wiring.
Good luck.
