I'm in Corpus Christi...lol. I ordered the cable off Ebay, probably buy the code next week. they just do it through Skype?

They sent me the code via email. They said I could do it myself, or they could set up a time via Skype. How do I go about doing it myself? is it that hard?? tried to find a DIY but couldn't.

thanks shawn....the soonest time slot they have to do this is next Thursday, so I really want to try to do it myself. where do I download that program you show in your screenshots? is this really difficult or pretty basic?

I don't think it is difficult, but some do.

If you don't have access to an ENET Cable now, it may take you a week to get one, in which case you might just as well let them do it.

I guess they have to get the code from Germany. And then I have to wait another week to have it activate. ugh

Hi all.

I have a question for this slightly older thread since I want to activate this myself.

Can an owner go directly to BMW for the Sirius code or are we forced to go through the dealer or some third party? Does the dealer mark-up the price of the code?

You can get 6F Sat Radio FSC Code from Dealership, but you will pay way more than you need to. There are better options.
