Who has a car cover on their car?

Who has a car cover, and which one do you have? Taking my 435 to a 6 month academy for work and it will be outside with the elements. The BMW cover is about twice the price of all the ones available on amazon and such, has anyone tried the aftermarket or OE covers? Which did you like and why? I will likely only be driving the car on the weekends, so id like to see some options to keep it dry and out of the sun on weekdays.

This one fits very well, can't really say how it would work for 6 months outside.

I got this one from Covercraft and have been very happy with it.

No matter what may be claimed, I’ve never found a cover that works well outside in the rain, getting wet and then drying itself out on the car with the moisture trapped between the cover and the paint.

I should have added that as well, it is not rain that causes damage, unless it is particularly acid, but he sun and uv that over time is the most harm. But neither of those are half as damaging as the car being trapped under a wet cover, rust, and mold begin quickly under those conditions.
A better solution would be a short term lease for a storage building large enough for a car to park it in, around here they are about $125 per month for one that size. Cheap insurance in my book.

Covercraft custom all weather cover works very well or as well as a cover can.
It fitted, meaning pockets for mirrors and shark fin on roof.

$125 per month? It depends on where you live. Here, one would need to add a zero at the end before starting to look for one. A cover would need to be described as breathable before it should be considered.

OK, I guess sometimes I forget about the advantages of living in Tennessee

Please tell me where you found a car cover for a 4 series. The dealers say there is not one and Covercraft says they do not have pattern for one.

I got this one when I bought my car, it is an M-Sport cover for a 4 series, it was still in the catalog last time I looked.
