As above ^^^^ when I cancelled my order, they actually rang me again to say that perhaps they didn't need quite so much information and they could send the discs, I told them to get stuffed and give me a refund, which they did after about a week.

I bought my discs in the UK after that from https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-O...034e%7Ciid%3A1

All depends what pads you want ?

I did the standard Pagid pads @ circa £46 but I see that eurocarparts have a spring 33% off so are at around £40

I've also just fitted M-Performance grooved and dimpled discs front and rear with BMW standard pads. No noise as some have suggested and no brake squeal at the moment, used Ceratec brake grease on assembly. Discs look really good.

Be careful when using Autodoc. Great price if things go well. Expect hassle if you wish to return for a refund. Reminds me of mobile phone companies when you ring to cancel the contract. You have to go through 20 minutes of discussion before finally they agree to cancel the contract. Beware!!!

A bit of a lip is fine. Best to measure the thickness of the disc with a vernier caliper and a couple of coins/washers.

Looking for discs here for my own car. Anyone know why this eBay price is much cheaper than other online shops? £256 vs £390

Because that is the going rate for two piece 370mm discs, same as the TRW ones:

Online car parts are based in Germany, they seemed to want far too much personal information when I ordered from them, like a scan of the card used to pay etc. so I cancelled.

Bought direct from Ace in the UK as per the ebay add fast delivery, good product. in my eyes no different from the super expensive BMW ones. Although the picture doesn't show it they are coated for protection.

Does anyone know what the minimum thickness of the discs is for 370mm discs? On NewTIS it states 28.4mm - 2.4mm but this is for 340mm discs and doesn't specify for 370.

I'm guessing there the same thickness?

370 mm discs start at 30mm thick, minimum thickness is 28.4mm. Similar for the rears 345mm, discs can only go down 1.6mm thickness. Hope this helps.

That makes sense cheers, the table on NewTIS isn't the clearest as it says deduct 2.4 from the values in the table below. But anyway thanks for that

I can't find those 370mm textar ones anywhere for the price that ace do them on their eBay shop. Went to order them today and now they are out of stock.

Yep it’s pretty easy, as long as you have something thin enough to drive the pins out. And remember to tighten the reservoir cap and torque the wheel bolts!
