no CEL for catless downpipe
im seeing alot of members here getting cel for the o2 sensor after putting in a catless downpipe. I have jb4 with VRSF catless downpipe with a dorman 42009 spark plug non-fouler $6 (buy it at autozone/oreilly) installed with the rear 02 sensor. This had worked for me from the start and never received a cel. good luck.

Sub'd for long term results. I have heard that they do not last, but would like to see your experience.

I just picked one up from O'reilly's, same part number actually. It looks like it comes with 2 in the package (same as above). Planning to do a muffler delete in the next few months; I'll have the shop throw it in when they're doing the work and report back

it removes the O2 sensor from direct contact with emissions by spacing it back from the flow of exhaust gases a bit. therefore causing the sensor to detect less harmful gases than are actually being produced.

Puts the o2 sensor futher away from the airflow, causing the sensor to pick up less unburnt fuel (I believe no2,co)... orginally, the cats is designed to turn those gases into N2 and CO2... When putting the sensor further back it, the o2 sensor picks up less of those harmful gases and thinks the cat is still installed and working fine.

I've been running a catless downpipe and JB4 for about two months now and did not receive CEL, although I did get codes once or twice on the JB4 "catless downpipe detected"

Yes, it will fit anything with an O2 sensor I believe. It's not fool proof, but you shouldn't get a CEL with it.

So I installed the 02 spacer today and about 50+miles I read a code
- 128901 lambda probe before catalytic converters, dynamic: slow reaction mean? I cleared the code and hasn’t come back since, should I be worried or is it just the jb4 via Bluetooth app telling me I have catless? (er catless)
