BBS SR, 17x7.5 ET35 fit a 340i?
Hey all, just bought a 340i xDrive, I'm still waiting for delivery, but wondering if anyone knows if my BBS SR 17x7.5 ET35 square (they were on a m235i previously) will fit my new f30?? Has anyone else ran this size before on this car?

They will fit fine, but you need 225/50R17 or something to avoid a massive gap.
Additional note: If you have the M sport brakes (blue calipers) not all 17" wheels will be large enough to clear the brakes. Not sure about these particular wheels.

It will be fine. It's close to stock 17" dimensions, so it will lock stock.

My car came with style 413 OEM 17" wheels for the winter tyres, they clear the M sport brakes (barely).

Hmm, I currently have 225/45/17 tires on the rims right now (worn out), I will test fit it before buying the new 215/50/17 tires.
I have non-M brakes, so I think they should be good based on what you guys said.. thanks!

Not exactly your situation but GF has a 328. I took my BBS SR from my M235 (same spec as yours) and ran them with 225/55/17 to give her some extra sidewall. The roads downtown in Philly are horrible and she isn't the best at avoiding potholes especially in the winter. No rubbing or anything, all works perfectly fine. Looks a little silly - kind of old school when everyone had huge tires - but for her and the roads here it's perfect. Minimal handling compromise too, as long as you get decent rubber. She's on DWS-06.

Why do you want to have narrower tires than 225?

215's? i hope this is for a winter tire set up. using a shorter and narrower tire size will increase the already unsightly wheel gap an x-drive has at stock suspension height.
with the amount of torque a B58 provides, i feel the OEM 225 square size is already too narrow and i wouldn't want to go narrower and shorter(gearing). i suppose having smoke coming our of all four wheel wells during a burn out would look pretty cool and be easy to do, with narrower and shorter geared tires. personally, i'd run a 235/50/17 to maximize grip while decreasing wheel gap and tuck. michelin pilot sport AS3+ or continental dws06 for toronto.
