I do need to have the front plate (nj). Getting a new bumper so will need to figure out what I'm doing. I don't want holes.

Not sure if it's the same with the non-m sport bumpers but there's a tow hook area that you can get a license plate relocator in its place so you don't need to drill holes in your bumper.

Just got it back from the body shop. A stranger accidentally scrapped the front bumper of my parked car with their car. Luckily it was just paint and they paid for repairs without involving insurance. Had to get the bumper and replica 3D Designs front lip painted. Oh, asked to get the reflectors painted to match the body's imperial blue. With the bumper off, it gave me the opportunity to replace the corner and fog bulbs. Car looks incredible now.
