F30 335i -- what is a typical 1/4 mile time with tune?

I'm thinking about getting back into a 335i, and curious what the average 1/4 time and trap is for these cars with a tune (JB4 or whatever the most aggressive tune is)?

Thanks! It has been a number of years.

Im sure you know this but there is no average. Depends on location, driver skills, tires and temps

Perhaps "average" was the wrong word. What would an ideal run be for a JB4 tuned N55?

Assuming good conditions, DA, etc.

Do we see these cars with only tune (maybe exhaust) break into the 12s? If so, High? Mid?

I thought there'd be a sticky with this info, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

A completely stock 335 "can" run 13 flat so yeah, even the weakest tune can propel you into the 12's.

Seems more realistic.

Stock is ~250-260 whp? 13 flat is a tall order at that power.

I know someone that ran a 13.3 in his stock 2008 335i and he didnt even launch the car he just pressed the gas when the light went green lol. I will try and find the youtube clip but it was ages ago. High 12s shouldn't be that hard with a JB4 unless you are running bald run craps.

I'm going by magazine tests which typically skew their numbers for perfect conditions (sea level, low temps/humidity, etc.).

The most recent test by C&D had a '15 435xi run a 13.1 quarter @107. Theoretically, the same vehicle equipped with PPK/JB 1 should eclipse the 12 second barrier...JB4 with DP/intake, some E85 mix, who knows mid 12's @110+

Again, these are under perfect conditions.

13.5.... is more likely I've never seen anybody run 13 flat in the new f30s unless your RWD stripped m235i.

My 435i 6MT did 12.55 @ 114 launching with all traction systems off. Best using "launch control" in Sport+ on the soft limiter at 3500 RPM was 12.8x as it would just bog and cut power in 1st. This is with an intake and DP in Map 5 on E30.

12.1 @119.5 is the best I got. kept loosing traction, and that was when I was only 480whp.

Reviving this thread.

The best time I got was 12.5 with JB4 FBO.
I switched to MHD stage 2 + and got 13.2 but the track conditions were bad and very hot and humid.

Over all , i'm disappointed.

Lightly modded N20's (downpipe/JB4) are capable of 12.8 so hopefully quicker than that!
