Metallic looking grease under boostpipe BMW F31 N20

Last week I discovered there was a grease with a metallic sheen under my boost pipe and intercooler connection. See youtube link/movie, where you can see the grease on my fingers.

What could cause this? Could there be some wear and tear somewhere in the engine?

What should I do? What should I look at?

See signature for details about the car.

My mechanic said it could be simply friction of the two connected parts of the boost pipe and intercooler. What do you guys think? Could this be the cause? Or unlikely?

Grease isn't used in the engine, so that's not the source. It's used outside the engine in various places where there's metal to metal contact, such as the brakes and suspension.

Yeah maybe I shouldn't have used the word grease. I thought the word grease is used when it's thicker than oil. It's not my native language

What I know is that there is always a bit of oil inside the boostpipe and intercooler.

So at this point I hope it's just some spill of oil being pushed out under pressure, in combination with alu shavings caused by the friction of the aluminium pipes.

But it doesn't sit well with me. I hope its not something worse.

It looks like grease, not oil.

Ok let's say it's grease, where would you think it would originate from. I installed the intercooler and boost pipe myself and haven't used grease. Also around that area it's all dry, not any other spots with grease.
