It would be intersting to know of the balljoint of this later style windshield mount is the same size as the older mirrors that have the 3-prong mount that attaches to a hexagon base on the windshield.

If that's the case, the complete mount could be swapped over, so this frameless mirror fits older (Exx) generation models as well.

As an E90 owner looking for a more elegant solution for Homelink 4.0 compatibility than the repeater, I agree anyone know if the connection points are similar to an E90/E46?

is repining required? I've bought g30 mirror for my f30 lci 2018 with kafas2. G20 connector is different so I've chosen G30 one.
