I think that there is a limit of something like 30 or 40 mph, above which they won't fold, unless it's just that I have only used the vanilla part of BimmerLink, and other options are available in the advanced settings.

This happen today with a huge van, I held my breath going past very slowly and my eyes started to water lol anxiety levels were going through the roof aaahhh

Nobody wants to get their motor scraped or damaged, and it's sometimes difficult to avoid these situations for me as I live rural and there are more small country roads in Ireland than large main roads.

What's your driving anxiety?
Same .. I hate narrow lanes (the ones barely wider than your car) especially when there aren't many pull-in areas to let someone pass, Im always relieved to get through them without meeting a car coming the other way. I generally go a slightly longer route if possible to avoid these type of roads.
Me too, hate them feckin single track lanes and wish the sat nav had the option to avoid these. Also I now avoid motorways where possible. I had an incident when barrelling along in the outside lane back in 2015 where my eyes just went completely out of focus and I could hardly see (I had loads of tests and a brain scan after but later found out that it was attributed to treatment I was having at the time).

It was feckin frightening and properly shit me up. Luckily I was only a couple of hundred yards from the slip road at the services at Chester and it was relatively quiet traffic so managed to pull off. I couldn't drive home that night and had to get relatives to come and pick me up and drive my car home. It's definitely better than it was but since that episode it's like I've just realised after many years of driving, that motorways can be a dangerous place. It's definitely a mental thing and not sure I'll ever get over it but that's my main anxiety. So now I drive where possible on A roads and twisty back roads, which can take longer but are also fun.

You could be put on the register for that and probably deserve to be if that's the sort of thing you're into

When this happens with myself and theses cars are so close to me they're practically touching me I've seen myself getting a little pissed off so stick my head out of the window or look into the mirror making eye contact and say ' If it's a BMW badge you want on the front of your car then you need to got to a BMW dealer!'

Driving on freshly 're-surfaced' (top dressed) roads. There's a 20mph limit sign, but the w*nkers coming the other way in sh1tty cars/vans are all doing 40mph and spray you with loose gravel & tar.

driving my car in town where I live !!
its full of old people who just step off the pavement onto the road without looking and expect you to stop .
totally oblivious tourists who wander about aimlessly .
doors opening on parallel parked cars just a I pass by .
builders vans that just stop in the road ( to talk to their mate coming the opposite way ).
I get so stressed going to work in the car im seriously considering either walking or cycling but that could be equally dangerous !!!

Any of my family getting in my car after I've cleaned it! Bloody lepers all of them! Hair and skin everywhere
The last couple of washes, damn council knuckle draggers turn up to Angle grind the potholes in my road! Bloody months they've been there, and decide to do it when I'm out there I'm sure the neighbours call them when they see me! Twice FFS!
Any car parks! Total paranoia!
Tailgaters! Really bugs the hell out of me! Just not necessary!

I'm not aware of any driving related anxieties, but the list of what annoys me when I'm driving is ever growing and these include motorists not be aware of the width of their car, those who sit in the outside lane on the motorway at 70mph when the lane next to them is empty [obviously I undertake them - illegal I know] but my 70mph is faster than theirs, motorists who brake on the apex of a corner. Cars & motorbikes with stupidly loud exhausts is my latest annoyance.

Golf Mk 5 (non GTI). Yellowed headlights. Approximate lane discipline on display. Driven faster than it deserves. Always give that type of car a wide berth.
