Even the 228i, (Like it more since it's lighter and easier to toss) is a blast. The 2 series is the best car BMW has designed in about 15 years. Really wish they'd give the cars a temp gauge though, don't see why they cut it other than just wanting 2 series owners to feel/look primitive. There are a few BMW execs who I hate and can't wait until they're gone for making some of these half ass decisions.

Anyway, the 4 feels big, it's a pig too, but it's big, so I get it. The 2 is small, so I want it lighter. The Alfa 4C is now my sporty benchmark, even though that car will be broken down much more often than it runs.

That obviously is just one example. My point was what I see as several business decisions to cut costs and raise prices.

This is why the 3 is getting a total redesign. Everything from the horrible base headlights, cheap plastic in the interior, and the soft steering and ride. I also submit the cut off dash of the 2 series into this lot.

Not really, the 3 Series always gets a mid-cycle redesign every few years. In fact every car does.

I get that you don't like the interior and what not, but the upcoming refresh isn't anything new.
