Question Will a Resonator & Muffler delete cause any errors?

Hello!

I have a 2013 328i xDrive w/ turbo. Very new to BMW, had this car for about 2 months, fallen in love, about to upgrade the body then start putting new trim on the inside, etc etc.

I'm thinking about doing a resonator and muffler delete tomorrow, all the videos I watch, the vehicle seem to be working fine afterwards, but I just want to make sure I don't get caught off guard and start having errors go off in the car and stuff like that.

I'm going to bring it to a professional muffler shop, but I doubt they know much about bmw's and I want to make sure everything is done right.

Is there anything I need to look out for?

No errors, alot of drone at 2-3k rpm. It will likely be even worse with a resonator delete.

I used to have one and eventually got tired of the drone. I got a loud exhaust ticket for it so that ended its journey with me lol

you'll likely leave your exhaust flap actuator unplugged. it won't cause a CEL and there is no issue with it. it'll just leave a code you can ignore when you scan the car.
