the seller said they are looking to "deliver" in 10 days though I feel that may of been a language barrier issue and he meant dispatch with 10 days, I'll post some pics and videos here when I do get them on though.

Edit, the seller did supply photos of the actual product for anyone interested

Does the light up animation not bug anyone?

https://cloud.video.taobao.com/play/...9234752027.mp4

It's so slow.. it's like trying to download a gif on 90's internet.

One of the sellers I was talking to were in middle of trying to change it to sell on a bit like the F30 V2's did.

I think they try to mimic the light movement of oem. But not sure if because of led limitation or circuit setting or they think it looks good enough.

They managed it with the V1 F30s, that's what confuses me lol

The light up animations are actually very simple to program if you've got access to the chip. I made some for a DRL project https://streamable.com/4mnz23 I guess it comes down to the preference of whoever programmes them in China

I had thought about buying a spare set to open up and play with, maybe double the SMDs and have a look at the board to see if I can make it flow better.

Even better, a lot of the sellers are modifying them as we speak - the animation is done via saved addressable commands by chip rather than hardware resistors, it's the same way I did RGBWA DRL's with startup and shutdown animations.

I contacted a few today asking if theirs would have a different style and they all more or less replied the same.. "we are changing the second light up animation"

Few discrepancies over the two finishes though, some are saying it's red or smoked, others are saying red or clear/black

Some of the sellers are now finishing animation fixes to speed up the second sweep: https://streamable.com/pmkxav

Like the lights, don't like second light sweep, i think it would be better to do just one sweep and stay on.
Couldn't bring myself to install them though, been burned by aftermarket fitments of items too much.

I think most places are still waiting for stock to actually ship.. 99% of the aliexpress sellers sold their listings as pre-orders without actually describing it as that.

I had to extend my processing time on my order because it had nearly expired yet the seller hadn't shipped

New stock is supposedly arriving tomorrow for most sellers, so they'll be shipping them out on Monday I presume (hopefully)

Received mine today after the tracking went rogue.. it finally got released from Leige Belgium and was stuck in the Netherlands for a week or so. They finally turned up this morning with no tracking updates.

Sellers are definitely reselling them from Vland, however it would appear the first thousand batches that were made had to be cut open to fix the start up animation.. so it does mean they've been resealed which might bug a few people if you look closely.

I had to use rubber washers behind the outer lights and then use the adjuster on the nut so that it didn't wind in too far. This helped me get the inner and outer lights to sit flush.

Looks awesome - thanks a lot for the update.
I would definitely prefer a non-resealed pair, but perhaps that means I need to wait a bit longer before ordering.
Surprised they write "oled" on the product aren't they LED ("oled-style"? Nevermind - I hope they prove to be good, longlasting quality! Might get mine from VLAND through Amazon to have the Amazon customer service as a backup: https://www.amazon.co.uk/VLAND-Compa...17&sr=8-6&th=1
Btw, did the seller offer any warranty?

If it helps I ordered mine from a seller on AliExpress and they haven't been resealed, and I was offered 6 month from the seller but I'd guess vland would have a 12 month standard?

Oddly it was. The leaflet through the door was dpd yet the parcel was from parcel force. Fitted them today. The fitment is good though I cut off a few of the tabs as they didn't fit right. I havnt finalised the fitting yet as it started to drizzle but here's a couple of photos. Cars filthy. I know
