Also having connection Issues.

I'm trying to reflash but I'm being told my OBD agent isn't up to date. I have updated in the app multiple times but every time it "successfully" updates to the newest version my connection drops out and will not re-connect. Once I turn everything off and connect I have to do this same process over.

I've reviewed the troubleshooting page, disconnected the battery, renamed the hotspot name, ect..

This is what happens every time I try and flash

I tried this as well and no fix. I am manually reinstalling the update on my SD, hopefully this does the trick

So, I have two peculiar logs:

I have overboost at both these points, and both events are me loosing traction and the traction control kicking in. So the throttle is at 100%, but my RPM is going down because the traction control is trying to regain control. Apparently this makes the turbo spin freely and overboost (?)

What do we think about that? Assuming overboosts like this is a bad thing, loosing traction isn't good for the turbo.. ?

Yes, reflash the firmware into the agent and then update it, and that did the trick for me.

I can confirm this worked for me. Flashed Version 8.1- Stg 2 91Octane and the 8spd Flash, very smooth power delivery.

Here are 3 Pulls. I notice the knock early on when it drops to 2nd gear, but I am not sure why my boost is so under target. Timing looks decent but best in 4th gear. Would appreciate a trained eye to see if they notice anything.

Do a proper log.

If you aren't familar, you need to do the log in 3rd if 6MT or 4th if 8AT, start at about 2000 or 2500 RPM, floor it (dont roll into it) and log until about 6k or 6500 rpm and stop the log. Get maybe 2 logs like that. Remember to have DSC fully off and place shifter into manual mode.

Your overboost is from the gear shift. 100% normal. Your can see throttle is closing to control it.

MAP[psi] is what is actually going into the engine (post-throttle)
Boost[pre-throttle] is exactly that

Do you have the gts start up roar turned on? I have it turned on and it doesn't as good as 8.0.

I normally log by going 2nd gear 2500rpm to 6800rpm in every gear up to end of 5th (I have PS2)

Boost is under target on purpose to raise timing, of course fuel might play a tiny part in it (In canada we got winter blend gas in the east so fuel becomes very shitty during winter)

my obd agent is at the latest firmware but when i try flash v7.1 ewg map this keeps happening? i have deleted and downloaded the map 3 time, i have also tired to download now flash later nothing works

thanks bud tried that also disconnected battery nothing worked. SD card was corrupted had to flash it manually all is good now. PTF's guide is great for this

Yes timing drops seem a bit much. I would recommend using the 91 octane tune
