Navigation Voice
Does anyone know if it’s possible to change the voice for navigation guidance on a 2014 Canadian F30. Tried looking under settings to see if there were any options but only see English or French. There’s no US English or UK English option.
Find the stock voice annoying and it would be great to change. |

There's only one version on English available worldwide.

Well, if I'm wrong and there's a separate options for US and UK language, you can change them via coding, searching for "sprache" parameters in Kombi and HU.

Change English_US to English_UK in HU and Kombi, set English_UK to Master and here we go. The problem is that some US specific menu items, like Sirius radio, are not translated in the UK English version. And you cannot have both in the menu - you can go back only through coding. Will play for couple of days and most probably will code US English back.

And this is how destination input menu looks with UK English. "n.t.a." stands for "no translation available."
But it's still functional though.

Here’s a video clip of the UK Voice:
As TheUltimateDrivingManiac said, it will say (N.T.A (US)), but it is still fully functional. By the way you’ll need to spell out the address if you’re using voice input. Example: “Please spell the place” If the place is TORONTO, you actually have to spell it out as T-O-R-O-N-T-O. Same goes for street numbers. You’ll want to say 2-5 instead of Twenty-five. Similarly, a lot of people on the roads are also not totally aware, of their surroundings.
