ive went from oem pump over to the evo one and now hdp6 , since they are all bosch they dont need extra coding .
both fired right up without any hickups , i ran numerous tunes
even mhd's beta ones for pwg ps2 . never had any issue .
check you rail pressures on a monitoring app or in BM3 ? ( i have no exp what can be read in bm3 ) . try and use your stock program aswell , is it rough on both . could very well be something's wrong with the pump . i hope you were carefull not to have any dirt into the pump's in and outlet while cutting away the flange .

two clips after installment of both evo and hdp 6

Pull a few plugs and take a quick look see

Used hpd6 sounds like best deal.

I installed the pump today. From what I can tell you guys; it was a simple install. No cutting of wires, lines or anything. At first start i did have a couple of misfires, but reset adaptations and that made them stop. You will NEED a custom tune for it until MHD releases a ots map for it similar to what they did with the XDI. I think Wedge and pureboost are the only ones tuning it at the moment. I am working with Fabian @Pureboost.de in order to go full E85 on the stock EWG turbo. This pump is still in Beta testing, but so far it is looking like a good alternative for those who do not want port injection.

I do not have pictures of the install. Pump is almost plug and play, just need to swap 2 fuel lines. 1 for the high pressure and 1 for the low pressure. The Fuel lines were provided. Only complaint is my engine cover hit the HP fuel line(line might be a little too long), so i cut a quarter sized piece off my cover and now fits nicely. Other than that everything is where it should be.

I am currently testing it on E40 on my second revision and car pulls nice and smooth. I will be gradually increasing ethanol content.

Sorry for the lack of information, I was trying to avoid derailing the thread and simply replying with some requested flow numbers.

You can check out our website here:
https://dorchengineering.com/

And our vendor introduction here:

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1674769

The tables posted above are maximum flow rate numbers for each of the available Bosch variants along with our upgrade kits. The N55 numbers differ from the B58 numbers due to the difference in the camshaft fuel lobe. The N55 has a 3x4.7mm camshaft lobe while the B58 received a slight bump up to a 3x5.0mm lobe.

We are a new name, but we have been supplying GDI solutions for years "behind the scenes" so to speak via contract engineering and private-labeling. We are now taking things direct to the consumer to provide quality kits for the best possible prices. Stay tuned this week in our own thread for more updates from our tuner along with some horsepower records from our beta testers.

Good to know. The requested information also included XDI/Spool differences....which you did not provide.

May I suggest creating a “Hey guys...., we also have an HPFP option” thread (N55/B58 Forums)?

EDIT: Dorch Engineering I took a look at your site and S2 pump info. Sounds VERY promising!! Will definitely be following your release. 🍻

I assume it works, but F87 M2 isn’t listed on your compatible vehicles list. You all and the F30 guys here would know better than me if there are any different fitment issues for the M2?

Also, do you have an idea of the E mix limit on your S1 HPFP for an N55 with a Stg 2 turbo (such as Pure), and a standard tune that’s not just boosting for a dyno run?

The kit will 100% fit an M2. That fitment still needs to be added to our site.

As for E mix, honestly we were hesitant to list whp and E mix recommendations just because that can be entirely dependant on the tuner. That being said our estimates are accurate and conservative and you would most likely end up at an E50 mix on our S1 pump with PS2. That pump will cover most everyone's PS2 needs, but we will update with more data from independent beta testers soon!

Thanks. Please keep us up to date on the beta testers, BM3/MHD integration, and when discounted pricing/ordering is live.

General question for the forum guys: is anyone seeing power gains by pushing Stage 1 & 2 turbos beyond E50? I know the S55 crowd with twin turbos sees big benefits in running E85, but can full E85 be taken advantage of on the N55?
