MPE sound differences

Just trying to clarify for my own understanding;

I have this:
Old (since 2012):
Part #18302293774 - U.S. version

So aside from the tip style, it should sound identical to this??:
Part #18302354340 - U.S. version

I would prefer to keep my current exhaust as I prefer the tip style over the new one, but if they new one sounds better then I'd rather go with that. Just wondering what to do..please help!!

Yea I've searched everything I could and basically understood the biggest difference was discussed between the Euro version vs. US version. However one member posted that he and a friend compared their exhausts (both US versions, one old one new) and said there was hardly a difference. I just wanted to clarify via part numbers.
Regardless I'm quite happy with my exhaust and can't imagine that it's the "quiet" version, I just like to know for sure.

Are you guys serious, 9 threads for the same exact topic...if you want the best its 340 apparently. Ive heard a few MPEs and they all sounded like a waste of money...

lol I understand it's a little pedantic, but when we spend our hard earned money we want to know its money well spent. Also it can all get a little confusing at times..
