Question about golf tee mod.

I've searched and got mixed reviews on this mod for the f30. Some say it does nothing and others say it only increases sound in comfort mode.

For those who have done this mod, does it increase the exhaust burble on deceleration? I do have the mpe exhaust and love the sound but would like more burble.
