K&N Works fine, more flow, does not void warranty.

K&n is oiled and over time oil may effect MAF by coating sensitive surfaces with a film of oil.

I have gone for a dry AFE drop in, afe ram air scoop and MPPK airbox.

+1 on K&N filter. Can't go wrong with them.

I have an an almost brand new 335i AFE pro Dry S replacement air filter for sale. I am pretty sure it fits the 435i, pro Dry S has no oil and much less maintenance then the oiled K&K version.

I'd just get a Burger Intake (and have every intention of it when my car comes in). Gotta make the turbo scream. No filter is gonna do that.

Do drop-in's really do anything? I could swear I've read that K&N's and the like are a waste. Full on intake systems barely make a difference in many cases. But at least they do give measurable differences, and make the sound better. Just go for a full intake.

Auf,

In reality, the actual gains usually fall someway short of claimed gains.

If you want more intake noise then go for $230.....
