shawnsheridan Hello!! I have a F10 (2012) which is originally the Japanese spec. It has a FM frequency of 75-90MHz only. I heard that the frequency can be changed with some minor coding. Changing the radio country from japan to australia would do the trick, I assume. I need your help on how to solve this issue. Could you please send me a link to E-Sys, Launcher, PSdZdata and instructions of installation? And my computer runs on Windows 10 - 64bit. Thank you in advance

Today did a retrofit on a F20 LCI from halogen to LED headlights (non adaptive)
Added 5A2 to the VO and VO coded some modules. FLE 43 and 44 had no cafd. Tried to inject different types cafd files but no succes. I thought the istep on the modules is older as the shipment istep (F020-18-03-530). Tried to flash the FLE modules it highlights HWEL in both FLE's. (See pic) When I push "HW-IDs from SVTactual" the HWEL is not black but completely gone. I bought 2 new FLE modules but there not from BMW itself, there from XENUS. Ok it's not OEM but had some work done in the past with the same brand and that worked fine so I gave it another try. I'm trying different istep shipment dates to see if any of them make the HWEL version black but there are alot of options... When selecting istep shipm F020-16-03-505 and older I get this code when calculating: Code:
Generating target SVT with strategy complete flash and integration level "F020-19-07-562" (target) and "F020-16-03-501" (shipment) failed. [C324] KIS error: Die Werksverbauung enthält an der Diagnoseadresse 0x60 mehrere 100%-BNTN [0200000CE4FFFFFF, 0100000A52033D02, 0800000E50074001, 0800000E52074000, 0800000E51074000, 0200000140FFFFFF, 0800000E4F07400A, 0600000E4E073F00, 010000088B023F02]. [1283] The blue "UNKN_FFFFFFFF_255_255_255" has something to do with it? PS: for flashing I'm using esys directly. No launcher involved. Last edited by H3685; 11-01-2020 at 02:30 PM.. |

When I click HW-IDs from SVTactual there is no HWEL at all... It disappears as shown in the second picture. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? |

Another strange thing I have had in some retrofit i did.
When adding some vo codes and writing it to the car it works fine, when I try to vo code some modules there is no change in the module. I click the module itself to vo code and not the underlying cafd. Also with my current retrofit led headlights Installed front and rear height sensors, connected them to the icm. VO coded vcm but nothing changed in the module... When trying to calibrate the sensors with ista d it says there are no height sensors for my model configuration... I had same issues with lci rear tail lights on f30. Needes to fdl code all the lines. For my current car I can't find out what the fdl codes are as the cad ncd tool doesn't work with the new cafd files... Am I missing something? |

Installing, inject cafd and everything works perfect. Difference between the two modules is the hardware version that's mentioned on the part. the working BMW part says: HWEL: 2B8F 03.01.00 The not working Xenus part says: HWEL: 2FE0 03.01.00 Everything working but got a fault for my ride height sensors. It says the wrong light switch is installed (I installed one without manual adjustment). For one or another reason the ICM settings are not changed when I VO code it after adding 5A2 to the option list. Anyone any idea what is happening? CAFD NCD tool is not working for the files unfortunately... Any help would be apreciated |

Eventually this problem is solved. It was indeed due to a lack in coding. For one or anothe reason the VO coding from the FEM_BODY module was not complete for the automatic ride height sensors. With the help of custom retrofit garage we added 552 adpative led headlights and vo coded the car. That way the fault about the ride height sensors was gone but came some faults for adaptive led. Compared the 2 files and removed the AHL stuff from it. Problem solved. Very strange why this is happening but at the at the car works flawless. |
