NOVA shop recommendation for lowering springs install?
Hi all,
I've been looking around for a shop to install some Dinan springs on my wife's 340i and so far, all shops seem to want $750+ for the labor (not including alignment!). Are there any shops in the area that offer more reasonable prices? I'm in Fairfax and would prefer to stay within the area, but I'll even drive out to MD if it means I can get a better price. And if I'm crazy for thinking that $750+ for labor only is too expensive, feel free to set me straight. I typically do all this type of work myself, but with a baby at home now, I don't have as much free time as I used to . I'm constantly reading about how people pay $3-400 for this work, but I can't seem to find anyone that will do it for that price. Thanks, all! |

If you can find the free time and need another pair of hands I'm local and happy to help in exchange for help coding
You can try J and F BMW in Arlington. I had some work done there and they were pretty good and fairly priced. There's a mark up for everything in this area.... |

Thanks for the recommendations! I did contact both yesterday and they were in the price range I mention in my original post, unfortunately.
At this point, I may just wait until I have the time to do it myself. |

Yep, tried them too
No biggie, I know prices around this area are a bit inflated to adjust for the cost of living around here. I'll likely just do this myself when I get the chance. |

Yeah, I ended up doing it myself too. Really shouldn't cost more than $300 for labor.

I think I've seen some posts that Induktion Motorsports will do springs and alignment for $500. They're in Linthicum Heights, MD.
