Yeah but that wouldn't explain why there's No CEL For the downpipe. If it wasn't tuned there would be a CEL.

not neccessarily, their are other ways to work around the CEL.

I will check to verify, the car makes a lot of burble sounds when I get off the the gas. Is this something that occurs with a stock tune when you have down pipes?

Stock tune does have a few small burbles on decel in sport/sport+. They would be a little bit louder if catless, but the duration should be a dead giveaway for a tune if the aggressiveness is not an obvious sign.

That is not stock. You have a flash tune on there but maybe its MHD since BM3 stated they didn't have any records of your VIN

I used the Mhd app and checked, it doesn't have MHD installed. I think Bm3 just wants me to buy another license

on MHD I don't think it will do anything unless you're using the google account associated with the purchase from the play store.. also MHD sport displays show 480hp/560tq iirc. ideally the owner would buy a cheap <$100 android tablet, create a new google account, and let that stay with the car when selling it down the road. a lot of people, me included, didn't think of that and use their primary account which is NOT transferrable like BM3.

I contacted MHD they told me to install the MHD app, connect to the car and look under "last flashed file" if it says "unknown" or "empty" then it's doesn't have MHD installed. I did as they said and under last flashed file it says unknown.

Maybe it has Active Autowerks tune?? But you clearly have a flash tune on it. Are there any other mods on the car?

Yeah it has a FMIC, Downpipe, Charge pipe, and an m performance air intake with AFE drop in air filter... Basically full bolt ons. The guy who had it before said it's been tuned with Bm3 and Jb4 as a piggy-back, according to him he was running E30. I got the car from an insurance auction, it was originally a Cali car but I guess at the auction facility someone took the jb4, because the previous owner left everything including the jb4 on the car when the insurance took it. I've been trying to get the activation code or his log in information for Bm3 but he hasn't gotten back to me with the info and isn't returning my text so I'm stuck. Protuningfreaks Says they have no history of the vin.. I think otherwise

I decided to just fork over the 585$ and got Bm3 this morning I haven't really got out to open it up yet but I haven't noticed a big difference. If I was looking for more power what should my next mod be?

So you never figured out what tune was on your car...?

Assuming you are running the high octane OTS tune you can for your car from BM3, if you didnt notice a big different you probably already had a stage 2/2+ tune on there (even if from a different company; AA? Turner?). Honestly i wouldnt have bought another tune until i figured out what was on my car in the first place...

Anyways if you are already FBO, you basically need HPFP + custom tune to max stock turbo (with ethanol mix ideally), and add PS2/turbo upgrade if you want to go beyond that.

I'm having a problem getting the obd agent connected. Whenever I plug the obd enet cable into my laptop it disables the laptop's WiFi which is why the agent is not recognizing the connection. Is this a problem for anyone else? I can't find any solutions to this problem.
