Intermittent N20 low oil pressure warning

Hey guys, I got a 2013 328i with about 58k miles and once about every 4-6 months I get a spontaneous low oil pressure warning on the iDrive screen.

I pull over, restart the car, and light goes away. No ticks, no knocking, nothing. Runs just fine. Oil level is good too and I change it every 5k miles.

Today is the third time this has happened.

One thing I did notice though is that this ONLY happens when I am cruising on the highway at a higher rate of speed (85-95 mph) while in sport mode in 6th gear (6MT). It has never happened in any other circumstances.

I'm suspecting it might just be a minor electrical fluke because my engine would've been toast a long time ago if the oil pressure was in fact low.

I did however notice the other day that there is a significant amount of air rushing out of the oil cap when I open it while the engine is idling. i'm not suspecting it to be piston blow by because the car doesn't consume a drop of oil and feels healthy. Perhaps a PCV issue? Although I'm not sure if that can be related to my intermittent low oil pressure light?

You're removing the oil fill cap with the engine running?

Yeah, only for a moment while it was idling. Was poking around the engine bay and wanted to see if there was any blow-by (unrelated issue prompted me to look, which turned out to not have been an issue after all).

You open the filler cap while the engine running...not a good idea some engine splash oil when those are open...i guess this one didn't.

It did but very little. Considering that and the amount of air blowing out leads me to believe I have a PCV issue however I'm not sure if that correlates to this random low oil pressure light I get.
