This is a game changer. Thank you T_H_O_M_A_S, I would buy you a beer or 50 if I lived in Belgium.

The free market is a beautiful thing, someone needs to put together a step by step visual guide and do some more testing. Only a matter of time before the XDI price goes down too.

I checked on BMW parts.
They have, in fact, modified the HPFP ref from 13517610761 to 13518604231 in March 2014.

The old one seems discontinued, they offer the new ref with a connector mandatory for pre-march-2014 cars. (12518638006)

It has been said on the other forum, and it seems very interesting to me.

The "HDP5" fuel pump on N55 (BMW 13518604231 / Bosch 261520283) seems to run at 1.12cc but the "HDP5 Evo" version (BMW 13517642466 / Bosch 0261520258) runs at 1.2cc according to Bosch specifications.

XDI says their hpfp deliver 1.22cc, really close from the Evo version.

http://www.xtreme-di.com/product/bmw-n55-hpfp/

I don't mean bullshit but, in this case, why the Evo one would not be suitable to run more fuel and go 100% E85 ?

Does anything need to be done to do the swap? I mean is the pump a direct bolt on ?

Yes, he explains it in an earlier post. You must modify a flange to get a bolt to fit for it to directly bolt in.

Then you have to make sure the connector on your car will fit the new pump. If not, you'll need to modify that also

If you check the 2 Bosch ref I gave before, you will see that the 2 pumps are not in the same ways compared to their mounting plates. So you need to make new holes in the new one to fit in the right way.

Connector is the same for post-march-2014 models. Before you need adaptor. (see above).

It remains to be seen. I know someone (Paul somebody, maybe the tuner guy) has run straight E85 on a B58. The B58 makes 420 whp on BM3 with the stock fuel system. With JB4 and lean, 14:1 AFR on race gas, it makes more like 525 whp.

We'll see what the pump does on the N55 over time. I'm estimating it'll be good for up to 475 whp on the N55, but that's just an educated guess.
