The North East Ohio BMWCCA club is a great resource for meeting other BMW owners as well. Also check out the local Euro/BMW groups on FB.

Does anyone have any particularly good/bad experiences with dealers in the Cleveland/Akron area? I'm trying to decide between a couple of the dealers I've been talking to.

BMW of Westlake has been good to me. If you're looking for used check out their Middleburg store as well.

I'll keep that in mind for service.. I'm buying new, and they're the only dealership in the area that:
#1: Wouldn't offer invoice pricing up front (or even come down to it when I told them all the other dealerships had)
#2: When I had a corporate discount, tried to tell me that I couldn't have the whole discount, as the amount they pass through is up to them. (again, while all the other dealerships have treated it as a straight reduction in MSRP before they give their discount)

I realize that sales and service sides are often different, but it does make me wary to work with them.

I tried dealing with Westlake but BMW cleveland in Solon was by far more professional and honest in my experience.

That's who I was going to deal with until Dave Walter offered me a better price, and gave me a little bit of other concession besides price. Both seem like good dealerships to deal with on the sales side.

Funny I just went through the same issue above with BMW of Westlake.i did find BMW of Cleveland more straight forward and not just trying to rip you off. Eventually I did order a car through Westlake only because I had a good quote from Cleveland and others that I made them beat. Westlake's service department has been great though.

Cleveland area!

Did Euro delivery of my 440 through Solon and had a bad experience. Classic BMW has been better and I'll go through them to buy out the lease.

What I could use is a recommendation for a place to dyno.

It’s the Mustang Dyno. Better known as the heartbreaker dyno.

Sorry. Forgot to post.

Stock run then two runs with stage 1 - 93.
I think it was 18 degrees that day and using snow tires.

They ran it stock first then let me come out and flash the car. They let me take a video of the second run too. Not sure they let people back there anymore.

I should probably do a run with summer tires. Going to wait till I get rid of my 19s and go back to 18s. Maybe I will get a catted dp and go to stage 2 at the same time.

Off topic...I'm in So.CA but my gf is from Deerfield, OH. Spent about 10 days out there last summer. Beautiful part of the country.
