So I decided to remove this for a bit, after research and videos, I noticed that what I had was similar yet still different.
Originally there are three connectors to remove, now only two, pink and black. Here's the step by step, get your pry tools and flat screw (if you got big hands) ready. Remove the cradle from the narrower side. https://ibb.co/bKMs43T After you remove the cradle, you'll see a strands of wire attached at the bottom, which goes under the armrest. Now, use your pry tools to get your rear air vent out, 2 clips on top, 1 on each side. After you remove the air vent, you'll see the large connector at the bottom. And another(pink towards the left side of the vent. Press down on the circled part and push the grey clasp forward to release the large connector. Now you'll want to remove the pink connector, which is hold by 3 of the white clasp. First dislocate the one on the tip, then simultaneously the one on the bottom and the one on the top to remove the pink connector. After removing the pink connector, you'll find that it's connected to another wire, which you can simply disconnect them by pressing the circled part on the pink connector. Now that you removed both connectors, pull the air duct towards you to give space to put the strand of wire behind the air duct, as it is connected under the armrest. Remove the entire cradle with two pry tools with one to pry and the other to prevent the cradle from falling back to original position. becareful not to break the clips! it did not cause any electrical issues upon removal. But do be careful when removing the plugs as clips are sometimes fragile. |
