Thanks, I downloaded the correct file, modified the lookup.xml file and was able to generate a working code. I now have 2015-2 loaded and working.

I added the following to the lookup.xml file
</SgbmId>
<SgbmId id="NAVD_000014B8_255_001_054" SWID_FscShort="00A80006" name="Road Map NORTH AMERICA Next 2015-1" supplier="TAS" sop="01.03.2014" version="10_09" MapOrderNumberBMW="" MapOrderNumberMINI="" MapOrderNumberRR="" successorMapOrderNumberBMW="" successorMapOrderNumberMINI="" successorMapOrderNumberRR="">
<EcuVariant CompatibilityIdentifier="NBT-HB" Format="CIC" />
<SwUpdate SwUpdateEntry=""/>
</SgbmId>

Hi,

I've tried to update my 2011 CIC navi, but after 3 wrong FSC code, now I cannot try any more.
I put the USB into the glovebox, start update, and then I cannot get FSC code promt. It goes back to the menu and that's all.
Is it locked forever or?

I think my FSC generator was wrong.
Do you know what option does it need?
Ive tried Dr Ho's generator with this options: fsc.bat a.hex 0x47 0x08

Navi: CIC motion
Map: 2014-1 Road Europe Motion

Thanks,
BR,
Gabor

Hi,
I have read carefully and tried to apply all my advice to retrofit cic in my E61, but without results:
The VIN read in the CAS is different from that of the CIC.
How should I proceed?
Can not change VIN CIC! (yet well TOOLS32 the VIN of my vehicle!)
Thank you in advance for your help

And I assume you have an Activation Module / CAN Filter, else you would have nothing.

So, you must pull 1B file from CIC, in which case you need an ICOM Interface.

So you have only 2 options.

1) Load your original CIC FSC Codes into CIC using ICOM and ISTA/P. If Donor VIN is newer than your VIN though, you will need to make CIC Virgin first, which is not an easy process.

2) Use Activation module.

To make virgin, you have to Telnet / FTP into CIC and replace a file. I have never done it myself, so it isn't something I can explain in detail to you.

I have no idea on wiping the hard drive. Frankly, I wouldn't worry about this. It may cause more problems then it solves.

Yes, but that is a royal pain in the ass, and it applies to car with Script Activation, which is a totally different animal that you do not have to deal with.

Why do you ask for PREMIUM when it is already posted just 11 posts above yours?

What should I do?

Tks in advance for your help.

Tks kitster!

I have dowloaded from that location and again the same result: the AV finds that virus in the FSC.exe file located in the CIC folder.
The other FSC.exe in the NBT folder is ok and unfortunately the one I need is the CIC one...

Do you have a safe version?

Another 2 questions:

1) does the lookup.xml file that you added has already the XML block for the 2015-2 Europe West Premium for CIC?

2) What are the other files I have downloaded from the new location you shared (CIC mafia, swid reader, CIC language coding utility, etc)?

Tks again for your help!
