Dang the w12 is looking good! I personally like the star livery but the amg one is nice too. But holy cow mercedes is not camera shy at all, getting right into the barge port area that other teams don't want you to see, only thing they're keeping secret is the floor area.

Overall that car is dope!

lol! To be fair iirc mercedes did that with the w10 where on testing day they showed up with a nearly different car with all the new parts.

But even then we won't know much until teams start talking about it. For example DAS, people though it was to change toe angle for reduction of undwrsteer, until mercedes came out and said it was for tire temps. So there's more in store to keep us fans excited.

2021 DAS => Banned by the FIA

In 2020 => Mercedes had huge advantage by DAS .

Well DAS was part of the steering system and nothing in the regulations prohibited it so it was legal. The. They banned it because they didn't want every other team to have to spend to develop it. Imo I would just rather allow teams to have free reign so long as it's in the regulations no more banning. I wanna see f1 cars corner at 6-7g lol.

It doesn't matter how many times you explain it to him he will still recycle the same BS sooner rather than later.

The reason they didn't was that the DAS innovation was developed to ameliorate a small problem only Mercedes were having with creating and keeping front tyre temperature.
