Just ignore the incredibly helpful posts....
Maybe you are a little backward but he has already been offered £21,250 trade.
How would you know what I've been offered?
Slightly worrying that you seem to know my business. Please explain yourself

Sarcasm obviously falls short with you I see.

What is the trade price got to do with a private sale of a car on autotrader?

Also If you expect a sale price to not be higher than a trade price then you have no understanding of how dealers make money.

I'd probably keep your opinions to yourself mate, the OP just wants to sell his car and unless you are going to buy it...

Well your sarcasm fell way short of satire or even a little mirth.

As for not understanding how traders make money pull the other one. I buy my cars at trade price generally (apart from my Boxster S which i bought in March from an OPC) which allows me to sell them at a private sale and very rarely lose money on them. My 430D was bought at BCA for £22k plus £400 fees (something you can't emulate unless you have access to a platinum traders account).

My reference to the trade price was the OP already has a £21,250 bid on a trade site (ooh see what I did there, a little homework), so your nonsensical post about selling for 19k was just plain stupid.

As for everyone else jumping on their high horse, relax I was only suggesting the OP should make his asking price more realistic to get the phone ringing. I would have stuck it up at £22,500 for a private sale.

He didn't ask for your opinion though, did he? It's a classified ad thread, why do you feel the need to scribble all over it?

My post was taking the piss, 19k wasn't meant to be accurate and relevant. It just literally went over your head.

a little homework...are you buying it then?

I am not a trader and tend to buy cars new from a dealer.

I suppose the next time someone sells a car on here they must ask you for the price first then. I apologise!!
