On the 330D flooring the pedal to overtake or come off a slip road the car would often kickdown and throw you into the lower gear at higher than optimal revs unnecessarily. This stops it kicking down with your foot flat on the floor and makes acceleration smoother and more predictable

People have done it, and their are some vague how tos around, but it's not straight forward.

As it is obviously lost can I ask you to post a link to where you originally got it from & could you also tell me if it works effectively? I am sick of it kicking down to 4100rpm & then changing again at 4400!?!
