Sadly, I don't think the F30 will be this good looking (minus the wannabe led strips).

This is inaccurate!
The grills don't really flow well with the whole design flow, and they look ugly. Kind of looks like the lancer. I'm sure F30 will be something different among the 5er,6er |

If BMW actually puts these gay Audi LEDs on any of the new vehicles, then we will need to go to all of the BMW dealerships and rip them off of the cars.
We can form up teams based on state/city. We must do this in the name of justice. |

Screw the LEDs, they are easy to cover or bypass, it's that damn hood cut line they are putting on everything I can't get past.
Why is the cut line from the bumper to the hood so prominent on the new cars? It wasn't that long ago BMW was talking about how they tried to make the cut lines make sense by following other lines on the car. This looks like a complete after thought. |

Everybody is going to the direction of LED's -- the new 6 series offers an optional full LED headlight (including LED Xenons). As BMW promotes it resembles closer to daylight.

There is no such thing as LED Xenons :P Xenon is used in High Intensity Discharge lights (and halogens as well, but for a different purpose), and is not present in LEDs.

I know its a rendering and all but does anyone get the feeling like C&D took a lot of styling cues from the new M5?

BMW's used to look original in the 80's,90's now with more and more car co. copying their designs,it's tough. Almost every car has the hofmeister kink, shark fin,a version of a staNd alone DRL's, idrive, bangle's butt and flame surfacing...
Look at a Honda accord of the 80's,now it can be mistaken for an e60 5 series. It used to be German cars looked really different than American and Japanese cars, notg anymore. |

I don't think it looks that great. I hope they make the M version look better.

I have read lots of reviews about the new 5, and now the new X3.
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...est/index.html Check the pictures of the interior of the new X3. I think that is what you will be getting in the new 3. "When you relax your right foot, the transmission quickly reaches for the overdrive gears, aiming for the 19 city and 26 freeway mpg the X3 is rated. X3 has flaws of its own. Under normal driving, its transmission can feel clunky while leaving from a stop, especially when shifting into and out of second gear." Okay I will get the 6mt. BUT I might be heading towards the new 1 coupe (2013) for my driving experience. |

The new X3's interior is a step in the right direction. I've always thought that BMW interiors were somewhat minimalistic (on purpose I know), but I hated the fact that the interior of my last A4 was more appealing than the 3-series I've had.
