Sat nav / Abs fault
Hi all, my 2013 F32 has a left front ABS sensor fault which is being replaced this week, while I’m waiting for the part I’m still driving it. Since the ABS fault has flagged up my sat nav is either the wrong location or when I’m driving instead of a smooth arrow on the road it stutters along the map down the road, could these be linked? Thanks

Nevermind I found on the secret menu that gps is linked through speed sensors and as one currently isn’t working it’s reading 0 whereas the rest are giving readings, so that should be sorted when the sensor gets changed

Dead reckoning for momentary gps signal loss (tall buildings, tunnels etc).

Speedo signal is sourced from the wheel speed sensors as well. The ABS fault probably means the quality factor of the vehicle speed is degraded (=unreliable) and won't be used by receiving modules.
