Spool Performance FX-180 HPFP

On Wednesday, I am having a Spool Performance FX-180 HPFP installed. I was thinking even though the car only has 4200 miles on it that I should change the spark plugs.

My question is if I run a BM3 Stage 2+ e30 tune what should I set the gap to on the plugs?

Are you upgrading turbo?

Okay then you can go 1 step colder on bm3 site I believe they say to gap them to .22 or .20 I don't know as I have mhd but should give a good starting point.

Get some ngk plugs at .022.

Also MHD > BM3 for hpfp. MHD dyno’d their E40 at 510hp.

There's no need to replace or gap your spark plugs. Especially at 4000 miles. The plugs are brand new and there aren't "colder" ngk plugs available.

Stock plugs with stock gaps are good, no need at 4000. Also you don't have to worry about the low pressure fuel line getting in the way of the coils, I just installed my fx180 and the wire tucks behind engine so whenever you do need to replace plugs in future, you'll be good. Also, just be prepared, bending fuel line to fit the pump for me was very difficult so best to bring it to a shop and have them do it, just my 2 cents
