Not sure about roof bars. Are they OEM? Also, my bet is it has a Renntech ECU tune, not JB4, cuz - Renntech badge. Not sure how to check that easily but I'd bet Google could help.

The roof bars are OEM so today I'll test fit them. Yeah I just tried the arrow's on the steering wheel and all it does it change the radio display on the nav screen. I'll be ashamed to drive this car if it has a Renntech badge but no Renntech mods

I tried to look up if there is a similar function to check for Renntech. Since it's a reflash and not a piggyback, it seems there isn't a simple way. I'd give them a call - for real. The site says the Renntech flash could take it from 300hp to 420hp. That'd be... Noticeable.

Are you in WPB area? On a weekend I can drive up to you and I'll let you drive it so you can see for yourself. All that I ask is a ride in your F82 and to ban you in person. Seriously, PM me and lets meet up soon. As for the roof rack, the rear bars fit perfectly. The front passenger side is in tight but the driver's side isn't screwed down but as long as I don't have a bike on that side, it won't shift. I just researched and the front bars are off by a cm or something like that. I may have to sell my f30 rack for a e90 one or figure out if the front bars can adjust?

It could also be Dinan tuned, but you would probably see some Dinan stickers or something. Have you driven a 335 before because a stock one has quite a bit more jump than a 328 which you might be used to.
There are also things like MHD flash that it might have but I don't know how you would check that.

On a Saturday in June I'll bring it to my indy mechanic and have him go over it while he performs an oil, trans and rear diff fluids. IIRC the HPFP has a 10yr/120k mile warranty? Does that cover modified cars? Probably not :/

I've had a BMW loaner '16 328i x drive for a month now. When I switch back to the E92 335i, it's night and day. The F30 has pinkie light steering--I wonder if guys somehow ever get used to it?

On a scale of 1-10, I rate it a 0. It's that bad.

You know how dealers are, water pump may be covered, but thermostat is not, hpfp covered, but lpfp not, motor covered, but if belt or hose breaks and it melts, not covered. I wouldn't count on necessarily having "blanket" coverage, it always depends...

So I reached out to a buddy of mine who works for a dealer in Denver and he looked up the VIN. In service date was late June 2009, HPFP was replaced in mid 2011 when the vehicle had about 18K miles and right before the warranty expired on June 2013 some key parts were replaced at 49K miles:

Water pump
Spark plugs
Front brake pads/rotors
Steering wheel as customer complained the leather was peeling (wouldn't that be wear/tear and not covered)? I shouldn't bitch as I've wondered why it looked new.
All armrests (doors and center) replaced - explains why there is zero wear.
A/C evaporator
Some iDrive/Nav work
Brake fluid

I don't see the turbo's being replaced so I'll just put my finger in the dike and pray since it'll be voided as the car is modded. I emailed RennTech and provided my VIN to see what, if any tune the car has.

Dear Mr. Lolz. We received your inquiry. Yeah, we remember that car. That was our test car. Whew... did we ever beat the shit out of that thing. Did you find it in a salvage yard? Hahahaha... good times. So, why you curious about it?

I was about to order plugs and soon get a water pump so I'm glad I inquired about the records. Now if RennTech can get back to me ASAP.
