I have a 2018 330i GT with b46 in it, like 2 weeks before it broke I installed a stage 1 tune from bootmod3. I drove 30 mins in -2 degree weather on Christmas eve and may have had some fun on the backroads since it was our first snow but when I parked the car it was just fine. The following day the car would crank but only sputter before dying. When diagnosing myself I plugged the battery into a charger/maintainer and flashed the car back to OEM, but that did not work. Had a mechanic friend of mine tell me it was the maf, nope.
The car has had the same battery for 4 years so I decided to replace that for a try, nope. I'm waiting for a spark plug socket right now because BMW uses 12-point nuts on their extendo plugs. However, I had another friend of mine who owns a shop bring over his scan tool (the expensive ones lol), car threw code 11B018 and he said it could be the fuel pump, fp relay, other series of 5 fp relays, and 2 other things I cannot remember. Any suggestions? I'm going to wait till I replace the plugs to do anything else but he said it's really unlikely it's the plugs because it did not misfire or send a code. Should give up and send it to the dealership for a $1500 repair? My car's warranty expired after I bought out the lease.
