Liked my first f31 in estoril so much, I bought another...

In all seriousness, I don't commute - so as nice as filling up once per month is with the 328d, I listed her and picked up another 330i for the time being. THP, heads up display, rear shades, heated seats all around as well as steering wheel...checks all the boxes for me.

Cant wait to get the OEM Track Handling Package orbit staggered wheels mounted again this week...if anyone wants staggered 437M reps with almost new all season (and Xdrive compliant) tires in the greater midwest/Chicago area, DM me...

Shopping for the right one for a while! Finally found a Mineral Grey with Oyster interior. I’m in love and I hate to say it but it makes me miss my F80 a little less.

BUT seeing all you stinky Europeans with your B58 wagons makes me furious (by furious I mean extremely jealous)

Spent the weekend partying with friends in Dallas. We stayed in this super chill micro hotel in the East Quarter. Did have to pay $25 to park in a garage over the weekend but it's better than the street.

Didn't like the huge M Performance roof spoiler so found this little lip extender which I think works but each to their own.

Cheers

Extra: Better picture of rear lip added 👍
I actually love this lip spoiler. Where is it from?

Thanks Heartbreaker…..it’s actually from magnatuning ( https://www.magnatuning.com/en/produ...Wing-Extension )….when I got it you could get matte, gloss or carbon but the gloss black blended in better on my Shadow Edition.

I liked it because it’s subtle, not stupidly expensive and as long as you take your time to line it up properly it’s very straightforward to fit, although I did fit some extra 3M adhesive tape which probably wasn’t necessary but I didn’t want it coming off.

About 6 months later I saw the first pictures of the lip on the rear of the M3 Touring tailgate and it’s an almost exact copy….maybe they saw my picture 🤔😁

Always on the hunt for the next wagon...this rare bird is dialed in and mint, but (as always) feel free to reach out with reasonable offers. Damn e63 bug bit hard...

E63S is in a different league but aesthetically dare I say the F31 M Sport looks better overall?! The E63S has some wonky areas and they missed the opportunity to give it properly flared fender arches.

I absolutely love the 398M wheels and have zero desire to swap them out. Maybe save your coin for the up and coming M5 hybrid wagon? That's going to be off da chain you feel me?!

By the way, how do you like the Skiguard box? Which model did you go with and what cross bars is it mounted to?

I really need one of these. As little as I'm doing "fun" driving these days it's tempting to sell my E92 M3 and snag one to daily.

These M sport version seem to be very far and few in between from what I can tell.

Some valid points about the e63 looks dept…I do think a well spec’d f31 potentially looks better. A f81 with some m3 arch flares would have been ideal…

Skiguard box is awesome - super high quality. I went with the 830 touring on Thule aero edge bars…wanted as low/hunkered of a box fit as possible. It’s heavy - I could get my previous Inno 660 wedge box on/off by myself…no way with the fiberglass skiguard. Setup was initially cumbersome, but no complaints now that it’s dialed…and their customer service is top notch!

Extremely hard to find, especially for a good deal. Idk where you are geographically but I wouldn’t give up and E92 M3 for anything less than a 340i. You’re going to miss the power (even tho E92 M3s are slow ).
If you’re in the US, a 330i F31 is the a great daily but you’ll want a weekender. If you’re in Europe, the 340i is literally the perfect do-it-all in my opinion!

I test drove a CPO M340 a few weeks ago as a possible replacement for my 328 next year. That car was absolutely amazing, if we had the wagon version available it would be a no brainer.

Also considering the M440 GC but gawd that grill is still not warming on me and for $55,000 US I better love it.

Anything over $50k better be an extremely clean used example or something you love. I “settled” a bit on my last $50k+ purchase and it kinda haunted me my entire ownership. Whereas I just picked up my F31 for an absolute steal.

M340 is great but kinda boring in my opinion. After owning an F80 and an E61 wagon at the same time, I’m more a 2 car guy personally.
